EMMA finishes 2010 in a fever of packing

We had a few last minute orders to send out before Christmas---EMMA was almost stamped and sent to the outer limits via the USPS . She had never seen one of their delivery crates before and almost went out with the mail--Here are a few of the last minute orders. She was too tired packing to help with much of the painting--who can resist a new method of shipping ??

DINO makes the cut

DINO beat out EMMA this year as the face for my Christmas card-he is portrayed investigating my Nativity scene--EMMA chose the Nativity scene while perusing the catalogs. She will be back next week to close out the year with some of our latest pet portraits.

EMMA off to Texas

I was visited via e-mail by a couple of beautiful yellow labs from Texas---of course you know who had to get into the act.

She did not help me paint them on the overlarge slate--too large for her to hold on her lap but she almost got herself in trouble--
for a change in the packaging box. She choose the wrong carton this time so escaped going to Texas via UPS.

A Dobbie and a Pussy Cat

Jupiter, the Doberman , is a truly a beautiful dog . He was a champion who competed in the Grand Daddy of all shows, Westminster. He also won agility contests--Alas he has traveled over the rainbow bridge..The Pussy Cat is alive and well. It is a good thing that my EMMA has only met her on canvas--Wendy is a very sweet cat who would certainly feel intimidated by EM.

OFF TO GEORGIA

Thank goodness for EMMA s help with this multi-piece order to Georgia. It entailed 13 glass Christmas ornaments 6 shelf sitters and 2 BEWARE OF DOG signs--Poor DINO tried to help with shipping but was discouraged by EMMA--It is a good thing she allowed me to help her.

FROM NJ-TO PA . AND VERMONT

A short blog today as I am inundated with work--EMMA is busy painting as I post these or should I say plotting--The Collie is on her way to her new home in PA. while the English Setters are bound for Vermont.

not for Halloween---BLACK CAT

This is a portrait shelf sitter of a long haired black cat from Parsippany----he would never stand a prayer on Halloween --much too sweet even though his expression looks a tad scary.

PENNI of NJ--EMMA paints???

EMMA is in fine fettle---back to her pre dental surgery behavior--HELP !!!! I was commissioned to paint 16 x 20 acrylic painting of a little ShihTzu pup . EMMA prefers painting cats but condescended to add her paws to the endeavor--she wante to select the colors but I had to insist on dog colors--she prefers the brilliant hues of fall flowers--DOG COLORS only !!!!
