not for Halloween---BLACK CAT

This is a portrait shelf sitter of a long haired black cat from Parsippany----he would never stand a prayer on Halloween --much too sweet even though his expression looks a tad scary.

EMMA is in fine fettle---back to her pre dental surgery behavior--HELP !!!! I was commissioned to paint 16 x 20 acrylic painting of a little ShihTzu pup . EMMA prefers painting cats but condescended to add her paws to the endeavor--she wante to select the colors but I had to insist on dog colors--she prefers the brilliant hues of fall flowers--DOG COLORS only !!!!

ELIZABETH from NJ

ELIZABETH ws a beautiful Tuxedo cat who enjoyed a wonderful life as a the Queen cat for 18 years in her home in northern NJ.
Her mother loved flowers and as most cats do I imagine Elizabeth was enamored of them also.
I painted her with acrylic paints on a 11" x 14" canvas surrounded by flowers as her father requested. Of course my kitty , EMMA, helped--she was very happy to keep ELIZABETH in her packing box after she was covered up--any white fur that was found in the box I will attribute to ELIZABETH not my EMMA-that would put a eerie spin on the finished painting.
