Curing time

I was finally able to post these photos to my last blog----This EX LARGE mailbox will ship in 2 weeks . It takes time to cure and then needs to be varnished using 3 coats of an exterior medium--The dogs are 1 Gordon Setter and one English setter. The Flag side of the box depicts the dogs working in a field flushing birds.

CURING TIME

At last, another mailbox is almost ready to ship. From a past experience with some minor peeling of the paint on the metal mailbox I learned you can not hasten curing time---it takes 2 weeks for the paint to cure on the surface of the box and then 3 coats 0f an outside exterior varnish MUST be applied.----no short cuts ---no chance on faster curing. I was able to fix the peeling on the afore mentioned product. Now I wait 2 weeks---Fortunately this lesson was learned before I finished this JUMBO mailbox with a Gordon Setter and an English Setter on the large blank side of the box and the dogs in a field with birds on the Flag side of the box---11 days left to cure and then the Varnish coats--that would be only 1 more day to ship. No mistakes made --nothing learned.

I AM HAVING A VERY DIFFICULT TIME UPLOADING MY PHOTOS---WAS ABLE TO ON MERCHANT'S CIRCLE---I will post this and try later.
