Renovated site

My site, www.animalandpetartistry.com has been newly renovated by my web designer, Anne Lazo of eaglesoars.com. Anne designed my original site . I felt the need to update it and add some new products---Anne is a marvel when it comes to graphic design--I would have been floundering without her. There is a new category called pen and ink reproductions that she set up. A couple of the drawings are shown here. My next blog will show NEW cards along with my faithful helper EMMA. For now you have to be content seeing her in one of my drawings with a neighbor's dog--NO they did not pose together...the magic of my mind put them in their compromising positions.

Another WAR DOG

These are very LARGE dogs but unlike last weeks blog about the Neapolitan Mastiff, the GREAT PYRENEES encourage cuddling.
They, also need a lot of training. All dogs need training but one really must be attentive to the size of their pets--although the littlest of barkers can be the most aggressive--This slate of a GREAT PYRENEES is off to Il. It was ordered through bigtalldog.com
They specialize in many items that have special appeal to large dog owners--the dogs are large not the owners but then again maybe they are also---so check out Val,s site even if your dog is not so large. She may offer something that appeals to you.

DOGS OF WAR

I just delivered these items to my Neapoliton Mastiff ladies---I think I might have misspelled Neapolitan --I did but these dogs weigh at least a TON---EMMA assisted me of course ---She has never met these gentle giants but if so I know she would be in charge. These particular dogs are gentle but only because of the care and training they received---note there is a reson they are called THE DOGS OF WAR--I wonder if there excessive drooling also helped defeat their foes ????

Heads up

My colleague in Mississippi, who owns THE MAIL BOX RANCH occasionally calls upon me to paint realistic heads for one of her mailboxes. Whereas I paint directly on to the box she creates 3D wooden appendages for hers--She has done some very beautiful mailboxes that are more stylized than realistic. When a client wants a portrait hed done she calls on me. She is also kind enough to carry my slates on he site--www.themailboxranch.com. Following are a couple of heads I just completed for her and with the help of EMMA shipped to Mississippi this past week.
